Guinness Blues On The Bay Festival @ Warrenpoint

Just had a super gig at the Warrenpoint Blues On The Bay Festival! We played in a venue called the Square Peg and kept the place hopping for 3 hours on the Sunday night. Half way through the set we were joined by Donal McGuinness and Sean McCarron on trombone and saxophone so the playing was fast and furious for the last few hours and fair play to the lads for joining us. They were there for the weekend with Mirenda Rosenburg (the new Queen of Warrenpoint!) and still had enough energy to rock out with us after 2 hours with Mirendas Band. Always welcome boys anytime! Seamus brought the 4 walls down with a blistering drum solo and Morgan was superb on bass from start to finish. Such a pleasure having such great musicians on stage. After that we took to hotel bar for a few refreshments with the lads and from here its on the road again to The Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival on Thursday and Castlebar Blues Festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will be in Rory fest on Sunday afternoon also so its another busy one.
Long live the blues!
